According to reports, a group of students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Madhepura in Bihar had gone to Delhi on an educational tour. On Saturday evening they boarded a sleeper coach of 2394 Sampurna Kranti Express at New Delhi railway station to reach Patna. Kumar, who was also travelling in the same bogie, allegedly started harassing the girls in inebriated state at night.
When the train reached Mughalsarai railway station in the morning the principal of school Devraj Dwivedi contacted the inspector GRP Ratan Singh Yadav to register a case. Yadav said that after lodging an FIR Kumar, who is posted in Delhi, was arrested.
